Terms & conditions
These terms govern orders placed with Pash London, trading as Print and Stitch House Ltd.
Draft — needs legal review
This is a working draft written to give the page structure and sensible defaults. Have it reviewed by a solicitor, and confirm the company registration number and VAT number, before the site goes live.
1. Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue unless stated otherwise, and are based on the garments, quantities, decoration method and logo positions specified at the time of quoting. Changes to any of these may change the price, and we will confirm any revision to you before proceeding.
2. Artwork and approval
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any logo, image, text or trademark you supply to us, and that its reproduction will not infringe the rights of a third party. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from our reproduction of artwork you have supplied.
We provide a digital mock-up before production. No order enters production until you have approved that mock-up in writing. Once approved, the mock-up is the specification against which the order is judged.
3. Setup and digitising
Logo digitising and artwork preparation are provided free of charge. Files we create remain our property but are retained on your behalf for reorders. Screen setup charges, where applicable, are shown in your quotation.
4. Payment
Unless credit terms have been agreed in writing, orders are payable in full before production, or by 50% deposit with the balance due before despatch. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate.
5. Delivery
Delivery estimates run from written approval of artwork and receipt of payment, not from the date of enquiry. We will always tell you if a deadline is at risk. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, supplier stock shortages or events outside our reasonable control, though we will work with you to find an alternative.
6. Quantities
On larger production runs, a small variance in final quantity can occur as a result of garment or decoration faults identified during quality checking. Where this happens we will charge only for the goods delivered.
7. Cancellation and returns
Because every item is personalised to your order, we cannot accept cancellations or returns for change of mind once production has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods.
If goods are faulty or do not match the approved mock-up, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will replace the affected items at our cost or refund them.
8. Customer-supplied garments
We will decorate garments you supply where we judge it safe to do so. Because we cannot know the construction or history of such garments, we cannot accept liability for damage occurring during decoration, and cannot replace them. We will advise you before proceeding if we have concerns.
9. Colour matching
We match thread and ink to your brand colours as closely as the medium allows. Thread is manufactured in fixed shades and screen colours vary slightly across fabrics and batches, so an exact match cannot be guaranteed. Where exact colour is critical, ask us for a physical pre-production sample.
10. Liability
Our liability in respect of any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
